A photograph of the Bibi Mariam Mosque in Narayanganj as featured in the 1969 edition of the East Pakistan District Gazetteer, Dacca.
At present, the mosque has been renovated and expanded with additional construction.

“The mosque is of the three-dome type (corner towers are modern). As originally built, the eastern façade shows the usual three arched entrances, each opening under a half-dome, the central one receiving further emphasis in the usual way. The basal leaf decoration of the three domes and the battlemented merlons speak of the common style. The interior hall shows the simple lateral arches, but the reduction of the size of the side domes is achieved by thickening the side walls instead of intermediate half-domes as seen in the Lalbagh Mosque.”
